How we work and price our services

With all new projects, we build a project plan and proposal complete with specific steps, milestones, costs, dependencies and potential risks. Once the proposal is approved and we are officially engaged, we report status to our clients at least weekly in whatever form the client prefers (email, phone, in person meetings). In these reports, we will review accomplishments to date, deliverables done in that reporting period and plans for the next period.

A typical project will involve analyzing secondary data from the company itself and from internet research. We usually supplement these sources with primary data from interviews and other research techniques such as focus groups, surveys, etc. With the data analyzed, we then help create and communicate the findings and recommendations to designated company colleagues and other stakeholders. Depending on the project, we will also carry out the implementation such as writing/project managing the collateral or setting up the desired process.

Depending on the project and client requirements, we price our services most appropriately: as a project fee, monthly retainer or on an hourly rate basis. We carefully calculate the time and value of each engagement and strive to minimize our client’s costs in manpower, materials, and expenses.
